The Maywald Foundation was established in 2023 by Blake and Allyson Maywald, inspired by their daughters, Ava and Ashtyn. Ava began showing horses at the age of 7 and has earned numerous national championships through her dedication and love for riding. Her younger sister, Ashtyn, who was born with Down Syndrome and Autism, also started riding at 7 and continues to thrive through her connection with horses. Motivated by their personal journey, the Maywald family is deeply committed to helping children with special needs grow, heal, and succeed through the unique bond between horse and rider. At the heart of the Maywald Foundation is a belief that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated—because here, it’s more than therapy; it’s a place where every small victory matters.
